Hope everybody is well and happy and perfectly cheerful!
It's the third month of the year already and in Australia March the first heralds the beginning of Autumn. Of course, that doesn't mean it's immediately time to don the gloves and scarves but it's hovering around the mid 20's (about 77 Fahrenheit) and I feel slightly less silly for craving crunchy brown leaves, warming my hands around a cappuccino and wearing jackets. Ohhh, I've missed my jackets!
Wow, I feel like I've spent all summer thinking about how much I love winter. I suppose it's because there is something comforting and close about the cold.
And now onto the shameless fawning over clothes that I do so well. London and New York fashion week seemed to be heavy on black so it's nice to see that Milan fashion designers don't see the world in black and white. They include all the shades of grey in between! There is something interesting about the different greys combined and layered, some of the combinations are quite complex and beautiful.
Speaking of complex and beautiful, Marni just showed in Milan and as usual the jewellery is simply stunning. I'm trying to figure out exactly which limb I would give for one of the necklaces!
