Everyone who knows me knows I have a massive Penguin Classics obsession. I love the orange covers and the tidy font and the price tag ($10Aus). When I was in the midst of my Christmas shopping ie. taking a sneaky visit to Borders I noticed and could not pass by the “Buy 5 Penguin Classics and get a free tin” deal. Thus, 4 stocking stuffers and one book and a tin for me!

Just finished reading The Beautiful and Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald (a great book btw!) and the references to Gloria’s sparkling, delicate party dresses had my imagination running overtime. I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to be a woman back then but the clothes were magnificent!
